Ssangyong's new Korando

Ssangyong is set to launch a Jeep-like recreational/utility vehicle. Called the Korando, the car will be sold in both 2.9 litre diesel and 2.3 litre petrol models, and is set to reach British showrooms from August. The Korando has a separate chassis. It features a selectable four wheel drive system, anti lock brakes and traction control. It is a civilianised version of a vehicle used by the Korean army.
