Bomag GB general manager Alex Ferris was beaming as he accepted
"the biggest compaction equipment order seen in the UK for some
years."
The deal was worth some œ750,000 and came from David Wales of CRH Plant (Cotswold Roller Hire). The order comprised 28 machines. Eight BW213-D-3 smooth drum asphalt compactors, four BW151-AD-2 tandems, eight BW80-ADs, four BW138-ADs and four BW135-ADs. Wales said: " We get good service from Bomag GB, good service out of the machines and good resale values when it's time to sell them. What more could we ask of a supplier?"
