Miller job shakeup

Miller's civil engineering division has been reshaped by numerous promotions and new regional appointments - recent expansion having taken the division's turnover to œ100m.

Mike Chippington's expanded role, as engineering and development director, will be to co-ordinate Miller's approach to business development.

Chippington's divisional business development manager is Roger Morgan, and Clive Winkler is his "partnering champion", the post carrying a specific mandate to hunt out fresh business opportunities abroad.

Graham Nesbit gets direct responsibility for business development in the south of England. Miller's Rail Projects, a new business unit, will be spearheaded by Ian Greg and Graham Drew.

Chris Hughes has been appointed unit director of tunnels, with further responsibility for promoting IT on site.
