œ20m Immingham south development

Associated British Ports is planning a œ20 million development at the Port of Immingham, South Humberside.

The work has been divided into three main design and construct packages: an open-piled jetty; an enclosure embankment on foreshore deposits; and onshore works including roads, paving, services, drainage and other operational requirements.

Tenders for the jetty and enclosure embankment will probably be invited as a single package. The awards procedure is expected to start in September. Work is to begin as soon as possible and is estimated to take two years to complete.
