Film school to cast for ambitious move
The National Film and Television School is planning to relocate
from Beaconsfield to Ealing Film Studios, London, in an ambitious
œ30 million move.
The relocation scheme relies on Lottery funding. A bid has been
submitted to enable a detailed feasibility study to be undertaken.
The plan is to refurbish and convert the existing buildings at
Ealing Studios.
The NFTS in the meantime is seeking expressions of interest for a
full range of consultants, including a construction manager. Also
required are a project manager, architect, structural engineer,
services engineer, quantity surveyor, acoustic specialist, and a
fire engineering consultant.
Other consultants are required to help with disabled access,
planning supervision, business planning, land use, and media
equipment.
