Hygena contracts
Ballast Wiltshier has secured two contracts worth a total of
œ12 million from Hygena, the kitchen and bedroom furniture
manufacturer, which is part of the MFI Group.
The contracts involve the design and construction of a 34,500m2
distribution centre and a 27,600m2 packaging factory for subsidiary
Hygena Packaging. The œ7 million distribution centre will be
built in Howden, East Yorkshire, next to Hygena's existing
facilities.
The œ5 million packaging factory will be built in Scunthorpe
and will produce custom-made cartons, boxes and presentation packs
for its UK client base and for its sister companies in the Hygena
Group. Project manager and client advisor for both contracts is
