Bomb- to building site in Blackfriars venture

Development Securities and St George North London have received planning consent for their £57m joint venture development at Blackfriars Lane in the City of London.

The scheme is the last remaining bomb site in the City. Development Securities is to build Black Friars Court, a 9,200m2 office building over eight floors with basement car parking. Immediately adjacent to the office St George North London will construct Evangelist House - which will comprise 16 residential units, a mix of two and three bedroom apartments, along with 552m2 of restaurant/wine bar on the ground floor.
