Airport HQ to take off
An Amec-led joint venture with Kumagai Guma has been awarded a
£60 million contract to build a corporate headquarters for
Dragonair and the China National Aviation Corporation at Hong
Kong's new airport.
The 32,500m2 project will be constructed on the airport's eastern
headland and will comprise two five-storey office blocks - one for
Dragonair and one for CNAC. The two companies will share a common
atrium, car park and recreational facilities. A separate
three-storey crew training block will include the airline's first
flight simulator.
