BOXTEXT: Brandon Hire buys Amtool for £580,000
Brandon Hire, the Bristol-based tool hirer, has strengthened its hand in the south east by buying Amtool Hire for £580,000. The move gives Brandon three branches - in Wallington and Banstead in Surrey and West Wickham in Kent.
Chief executive Charles Skinner said: "Amtool's business in Wallington/Banstead strengthens our business there and fits neatly with our purchase of Bentley Brown in Surrey, completed earlier this year. The West Wickham branch is our first move into Kent."
