DERA invites tenders for new lab complex

Tenders for a £15-£20 million office and laboratory
complex are being invited by the Defence and Evaluation Research
Agency (DERA) at Farnborough in Hampshire.
The project comprises the design and construction of new offices, laboratory, hypobaric and climatic test facilities, the procurement of new furniture and the relocation of the authority's equipment. Other elements include associated external works such as carparking provision, hardstandings, services infrastructure and on-site roadways.
Tender documents are expected to be issued in the last quarter of the year. The project is expected to take around 17 months to complete. Applications to tender are being handled by Heery International's office in Farnborough.
