Beazer gets new manager

Denis Stokes has been appointed group construction manager with housebuilder Beazer.

Stokes will oversee Beazer's quality assurance system, which has been designed to eliminate building defects within two years.

Dennis Webb, Beazer's chief executive, said: "He will play a crucial role in our bid to be the first housebuilder to offer defect-free houses.

Beazer's Quality Assurance System includes measures to maximise building inspections, formalise partnering agreements and log buyers' feedback.

"We have also introduced an annual benchmarking of the group's best development so that its expertise can be replicated nationally."

Beazer's existing customer service includes a guaranteed move-in date and a no quibble guarantee.
