LSE seeks construction manager
The London School of Economics is seeking a construction manager
for a £12.5 million to £17 million project to refurbish
and extend the Lionel Robbins Building in London, which houses the
British Library of Political and Economic Sciences and associated
research centre offices.
The 19,000m2 building is a six-level converted warehouse which will
be modified with the formation of a central atrium and the addition
of an extra level of offices. The tender will be in two stages:
advice and planning input; followed by tendering and construction.
Project manager is Schal.
The scheme is conditional on the successful obtaining of funding by
the client.
