London Bridge City II plans are submitted
Capital and Income Group has submitted a planning application to
Southwark Council for phase two of the London Bridge City site on
the south bank of the River Thames.
The masterplan drawn up by architect Foster and Partners is for a
mixed-use development totalling 236,624m2 within nine buildings.
The office area will total 210,312m2 with 9,844m2 of retail and
restaurant space. A 14,536m2 hotel and 1,932m2 of leisure
facilities are also a possibility. The site has also already been
shortlisted as one of two sites to provide the home for the Greater
London Authority headquarters and office for the new Mayor of
London.
