Wastewater bids open
North of Scotland Water Authority is inviting contractors to tender
for two design, build, own, finance and operate wastewater
treatment works - a £36 million scheme to serve a number of
catchments on the Moray coast in North East Scotland and a £9
million scheme to serve Montrose and the Angus area.
The Moray project will cover a catchment of around 115,000 people,
while the Montrose one covers around 27,000. Both schemes will
comprise the design and construction of wastewater treatment
plants, stormwater storage, sludge treatment and disposal
facilities, pumping stations, sewers and outfalls.
