Interior Services secures City bank job

Interior Services Group has secured a construction management contract to fit out the new £50 million office for Westdeutsche Landesbank in London. The 32,100m2 office, situated adjacent to the Guildhall, is being developed by MEPC and will be known as Woolgate Exchange.

The West LB project is due to start on site in April 2000. There will be a three month overlap with shell and core contractor Balfour Beatty until July, when Interior will have access to all eight floors. The fit out comprises dealing areas on three floors, auditoria, client dining and meeting rooms and non-dealing and support areas.

All dealing floors will incorporate flat screen technology. The first trading facility will be handed over to West LB in February 2001. The win follows the successful delivery by Interior of Deutsche Bank's Winchester House project.
