Knight sues Clugston

Knight Contracts is suing Clugston, trading as Clugston Construction, of Scunthorpe, for £224,938.28 and interest and costs in a dispute over ground works at a site in Fodderwick Street, Basildon.

The dispute was referred to arbitration and on 24 January 2000 the arbitrator, Richard Walmsley, issued a decision requiring Clugston to pay £223,246.28, and arbitration fees of £2,880 plus VAT.

Clugston was ordered to comply with the adjudicator's decision but the claim says it has failed to do so.
