The deputy plant editors job will suit a bright, questioning, business-to-business journalist.

Ideally you will have experience in news and feature writing, as well as experience of commissioning articles.

You need to be well-organised and keen to take on additional responsibility. The ability to be an ambassador for both titles and to make industry contacts is very important. Detailed knowledge of construction equipment is not vital, but basic mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
