Tom Meikle, general manager of field operations at Kvaerner
Process, has been appointed industrial relations manager at the
Electrical Contractors Association.
He succeeds Tom Gallagher in an ECA restructure. At the same time, Andrew Eldred has been named as the new human resources manager at the Engineering Construction Industry Association. He is a barrister and has worked for Incomes Data Services.
The ECIA has also appointed Richard Ash, from the Health and Safety Executive, to oversee its safety function. He is a previous secretary to the HSE's construction advisory committee (Coniac).
