BRIDGE OF SIGHTS: A new footbridge cum viewing platform has been
opened in Greenwich. Primarily designed to provide pedestrian
access over a floodwall, Linkbridge 2000 also has a cantilevered
viewing platform that provides views of the Thames Barrier,
Millennium Dome and Woolwich Ferry. London artist Gerry Judah
designed the bridge, while the structural engineer was Ingealtoir.
