Agriemach avoids turbocharger failure
Agriemach says its new Turbo-Guard solves the problem of
turbocharger failure caused by oil starvation.
A turbocharger impeller may be spinning at up to 70,000 rpm but as
soon the operator switches off, the lubrication system shuts down,
oil pressure drops to zero although the impeller is still spinning.
Turbo Guard prevents oil starvation by delivering a measured dose
of lubricant completely automatically both at start-up and
shut-down.
It is supplied in kit form ready to install complete with
reservoir, bracket, piping, ball valve and all connections.
