Jarvis has announced it has recruited Bill Colvin as finance
director. The move is part of the company's boardroom reshuffle
that was promised earlier this year. Colvin is expected to take up
his post as Jarvis announces its latest financial results in the
third week of June.
Henry Lafferty, who presently acts as group finance director and
chairman of Jarvis Projects, will concentrate on developing the
group's private finance initiative projects once Colvin is on
board.
In addition, Lafferty will take on responsibility for Jarvis
Construction Management, Jarvis Workspace FM and the University
Partnership Programme.
Colvin trained as a chartered accountant with Ernst &
Young.
Colin Skellett has also joined Jarvis as chairman-designate.
CJ reported exclusively on 27 April issue that Jarvis had appointed
a new auditor after PriceWaterhouseCoopers resigned four weeks
before the company's year-end of 31 March 2000. The group's auditor
is now Ernst & Young.
