Bridging the gap in safety measures

Sir
I would not have printed the photograph without first reviewing the
safety points that appear to have been neglected.
These are:
l The chain hooks are not fully enclosed hooks. There are no
catches.
l The riggers do not have a tag line for handling the beams.
l The riggers are standing on the outside of the beam and out of
view of the crane operator.
l No lifting beam is used for the long beams.
l No spreader is used to stop the slings moving.
It's not a particularly good advert for safety at work.
