Triple win for Copthorn
Copthorn Homes, a subsidiary of Countryside Properties, is to build
three developments in London totalling £50m.
The largest is a £27m scheme for 75 mixed-tenure homes at
Vauxhall. Construction should start in November, with completion
due in spring 2003.
In a £14m project at Hammersmith, Copthorn will build 60
apartments as part of the regeneration of the Edward Woods
estate.
At Ealing, the company is planning to build 29 new and refurbished
homes at Uxbridge Road in a £9m scheme. Subject to full
planning consent from the borough council, construction should
start next month.
Countryside's In Partnership division will build a further 60 homes
for rent on the Edward Woods estate for Notting Hill Housing Trust
under a £7m contract.
