Lifting Gear Hire and NIM Service to supply Albion

Lifting Gear Hire (LGH) and NIM Service have signed a £42,000
contract to supply, manage, test, and maintain all the lifting
equipment for truck and van axle manufacturer Albion Automotive.
Under the two-year contract, LGH will meet Albion's needs for lifting equipment, while NIM Service will maintain all of the axle manufacturer's own lifting equipment on site including cranes, hoists, gantries and runways.
The contract was secured by LGH's data management system, which allowed Albion to take more control of the process. Electronic inspection records are e-mailed to Albion for integration into its own database, allowing it to keep track of the maintenance/inspection records for all lifting equipment - whether owned or hired. This dramatically reduces the administration involved and provides up to date records on a daily basis.
