Refuse disposal services - Bristol City Council

Bristol City Council invites expressions of interest from companies interested in tendering for a three-year contract for the destruction and recycling of refrigerators and freezers.

The service is to be provided for refrigerators and freezers deposited by the public at Civic Amenity Sites and Household Waste Recycling Centres in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset and North Somerset.

The successful company will be required to sort, collect, store as necessary, destruct or refurbish and recycle the residual carcasses.  Preference will be given to companies who maximise recycling.  Companies offering incineration only processes will not be considered.

All tenderers will be required to provide evidence of all planning approvals and licences necessary for the operation of their sites.
