North Fulham estate to under regeneration

The 1960s Maystar housing estate in North Fulham, London W14 is to undergo a major regeneration programme involving demolition, new build, refurbishment and environmental improvements.

The work is being undertaken by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and is expected to cost between £13m and £22m overall. The estate comprises 444 flats in 18 medium rise blocks, which also include commercial properties.

The council is currently advertising for architectural, engineering and surveying services to provide an integrated team for the design, procurement and contract administation services.

An advert for the construction contract is expected to be placed in the OJEC in August. The intention is to procure the construction work on a partnering basis following a competitive tendering process.
