Contractors sought to redevelop Doncaster Race Course

Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council is looking for contractors to redevelop Doncaster Race Course using private finance.

The capital cost of the redevelopment at Town Moor will be £55m.

The project will involve a significant redevelopment of the current facilities and the development and management of new horse racing and business facilities including a new hotel and exhibition/conference centre.

A provisional date for completion has been set at 2027 and the likely concession period is for between 20-25 years.

The deadline for requests to participate is 23 June.
