Adjudication users' guide next on list

A guide for users of adjudication will be the next document
produced by the Construction Umbrella Bodies Task Group
(CUBTG).
Last week construction minister Brian Wilson launched a guide for adjudicators themselves. He said: "This is an authoritative and helpful document that will give confidence and assurance to adjudicators dealing with difficult questions in a highly adversarial climate."
Some adjudicators called for a more definitive guide, but CUBTG member Rod Pettigrew said it was not meant to be comprehensive, but something practical, and the result of some "remarkable consensus".
Construction bodies at the launch said the planned sister documentation for users of adjudication would be useful for members. It will be available within three months, according to the CUBTG.
