RG Group relaunches with increased client focus


A key account manager will look after each major customer of RG Group, formerly RGCM, as the company increases its focus on its clients.

The name change, effective from 1 August, is the result of a relaunch of the brand and a restructuring of the company. It follows a year-long business review "to assess the needs of our clients and the direction the industry is taking".

The restructuring includes the appointment of several associates and key account managers to provide each of RG Group's customers, which include Sainsbury's, Morley Fund Management and IKEA, with a single point of contact.

RG Group managing director John Chadwick said: "Client relationships are important to the successful running of any business, and at RG Group our core objectives are to build on existing client relations as well as creating new opportunities."

RG Group now operates through four divisions: RG Retail; RG Commercial; RG Distribution; and RG Consult. The company employs 135 staff and has a turnover of £180m (2001).
