The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is to launch an
improved dispute resolver appointment service on 1 September.
Thanks to a new database that is able to more accurately and
speedily match resolvers to disputes the process of appointing a
dispute resolver will be easier than ever.
The new ICE database relates specialisms and experience to the stated requirements of a dispute to ensure that the best possible resolver is allocated to each dispute.
ICE is already one of the leading providers of specialist civil engineering and construction adjudicators, arbitrators, review board members and conciliators/construction mediators.
ICE has also added a new publication to its family of dispute resolution procedures. `Construction Mediation Procedure 2002` is a new tool specifically designed for resolving disputes in the construction industry by non-adversarial means.
