Vermeer adds more to range

Vermeer's range continues to expand with the addition of two brush chippers, a short-rod directional drilling rig and the Interragator II, a ground penetrating radar.

The BC1400 brush chipper has a 122hp Cat turbocharged diesel engine, and a 360mm x 510mm feed opening, and weighs over 2.5t. It will be available in the UK for the first time.

The BC150, which hasa 150mm x 223mm feed opening, replaces the BC625 and has a streamlined canopy and a more powerful 35hp engine.

The new drilling rig - the D33x44 is designed for a variety of medium diameter mid- to long-distance applications, including road and river crossings.
