Hinkley town centre improvements - Regent Street area

Leicestershire County Council invite suitably qualified contractors who wish to be considered for inclusion in the select list of contractors to be invited to tender for the environmental improvement and pedestrianisation
scheme in Hinckley Town Centre.
The work consists of re-paving in different suitable materials, preparatory works for landscaping, drainage, traffic calming, junction improvements, installation of traffic signals, associated signings, road markings and
street lighting. The estimated contract value range is £0.8m to £1.0m. The contract will be based on the ECC Option B.
Application for consideration should be made in writing and include the following information:-

a) Fully audited accounts for past three years including statement of turnover on similar work.
b) List of similar work carried out over the past five years, accompanied by certificates of satisfactory execution of major works; such certificates shall indicate the value, date and site of works and whether they were completed.
c) Company's Health and Safety Policy and Resources.
Application for consideration to be received not later than 1st November 2002.
