Jarvis warns of 35 jobs at risk

Jarvis has identified 35 jobs at risk within its accommodation services division following a business management review. Each member of staff potentially affected has been notified by the company.

CJ understands that the jobs are at risk as a result of a number of business improvement initiatives, including the merging of bidding teams, but also general efforts to match employees to where the work is.

The jobs at risk are believed to be in small pockets all across the country. Jarvis will take 30 days to consider the options, and in some instances will be able to offer alternative positions. There may be redundancies - although none have yet been declared.

Jarvis' accommodation services division employs 2,500 members of staff.
