Demand rise for steel units
Leeds-based plant hirer William G Search has invested £200,000
in 80 new units to add to its fleet of portable, vandal-proof steel
buildings following an increase in in the popularity of this type
of accommodation.
"Demand for these units - all of which are purpose built - is
increasing as contractors become more security conscious - they are
now focusing seriously on loss prevention and risk management,"
said group hire operations manager Andrew Collings.
"Clients are also demanding a better quality unit these days. The
days when an old, converted sea container would do are now past,"
he added.
