Equion wins third PFI deal


Laing-owned Equion has clinched its third major PFI deal with the police.

The firm has now reached financial close on a £100m deal to build 16 new police stations and a new traffic headquarters for the Greater Manchester Police Authority.

Work on site begins this month with the construction period lasting 28 months.

The service and management concession runs for 25 years.
