The Bradford NHS LIFT public private partnership has finally been announced.
The Bradford and Airedale LIFT PPP has a capital value of £16m in the first year, rising to £50m over the first five years. Interested parties have until 24 January 2003 to respond. The contract is expected to start on 31 December 2003.
The programme is part of the second tranche of LIFT deals, two of which have already progressed to the shortlist stage. One LIFT programme from the second tranche, the Liverpool and Sefton deal, has still to be advertised in the OJEC.
Last week the first preferred bidder for an NHS LIFT scheme was announced. A consortium comprising Babcock & Brown, Group 4 Falck and Hunter and Partners beat rivals Amey and Miller to becopme preferred bidder for the £62.5m East London and City deal.
