Dean & Dyball wins RNLI job


Hampshire-based Dean & Dyball has won a £10.9m contract with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution to build a new college at its headquarters in Poole.

The five-storey, 6,500m2  Lifeboat College will house seminar rooms, a restaurant, kitchen, bar, bedrooms and health suite. Construction work will begin early in the new year and is due for completion in March 2004.

The contractor has also been awarded a £1.3m contract by Associated British Ports for the refurbishment of the QE2 Terminal at Southampton. The project gets underway on Wednesday (18 December) and must be completed by April.
