JCB unveils boom mounted camera system

JCB has developed a boom mounted camera system for use on a JS160W wheeled excavator owned by waste services company SITA.

The machine is used for compacting household waste as well as loading waste paper from the paper bay into articulated bulk vehicles at SITA's household recycling centre in Scunthorpe.

The new boom mounted camera set-up is intended to improve payloads as the operator will be able to see clearly into the skips as he compacts the collected waste.
