Genie has launched a range of telehandlers featuring quick hitch
coupling systems. Terex sister-company Terexlift will manufacture
the machines in Italy.
There will be a range of nine machines with lift heights from 5.75m
to 21.8m and lifting capacities from 2.3t to 5t. All feature a boom
length indicator, road lights, mirrors and a lockable fuel tank.
The two lightest machines are available immediately: the GTH-2306
with 2.3t capacity and a 5.75m lift height; and the 12.6m/3t
capacity GTH-3013T.
Both have hydrostatic drive which provides the various steering
options. The smaller unit is very compact (1.8m wide by 1.92m
high).
The larger unit comes with frame levelling, independent front
stabilisers and proportional joystick control.
Following shortly will be four 3.5t units with lift heights ranging
from 6.67m to 16.7m as well as a 4t/9.5m machine.
All the units will feature frame levelling, independent front
stabilisers and proportional joystick control.
These will be joined by two continuous rotation models of 3.5t and
5t capacity with lift heights of 17.55m and 21.8m respectively.
They will also have frame levelling, stabilisers and joystick
control.
