BL-Pegson's high-head pump set

BL-Pegson has launched the VS150HPS, a new high-head pumpset for the quarrying, open cast mining and hire markets.

It is a fully bunded, skid-mounted unit capable of heads up to 125m with,a flow of up to 400m3/hr (6,400 lit/min).

Power comes from a fully silenced 105kW Perkins engine protected by an electronic shutdown system and there is enough fuel in the integral tank for 24 hours running.

The pump itself has an electronically controlled priming system and one test unit has been running non-stop for two years.
