Applications are invited from suitably experienced Contractors for
inclusion on a Select List of Contractors for the above contract using the
restricted procedure.
The scheme involves:
The provision of a dual two lane highway link approximately 300m in length
through the reconstruction and lowering of an existing carriageway and the
construction of a new south bound carriageway. Associated work includes
drainage, earthworks and statutory undertakers' diversions.
The scheme is located approximately 1 km Northwest of Manchester City Centre.
Applicants should note that the information is required in accordance with
the Public Procurement: The Public Works Contracts Regulations 1991
(S.I.1991 No. 2680). Part III Paragraph 12 and a Contract Notice under the
Restricted Procedure was dispatched for publication in the Official Journal
of the European Communities on 10th January 2003.
The Contract Form will be selected from the Engineering and Construction
Contract, Second Edition.
The time for completion is 8 months.
