Provision of Roads and Infrastructure Services At Leaming Bar Industrial
Estate. Phase 4 Extension. North Yorkshire
Applications are invited from suitably qualified contractors wishing to be
included on a select list of tenderers for construction of the above
scheme. The works involve the construction of approximately 0.45 km of new
road, associated site earthworks, new foul and surface water drainage
systems including storm attenuation measures and street lighting.
Associated works include new footway/cycleway links, modifications to an
existing major road junction, offsite drainage works, associated
infrastructure services and landscaping.
It is anticipated that the works will commence April 2003 for a period of 6
to 7 months.
Applications must include: two technical references with details of similar
contracts undertaken; two financial references with copies of Company
accounts for the previous three years and evidence to demonstrate
competence to act as Principal Contractor, as defined by The Construction
(Design and Management) Regulations 1994.
Recent applicants for inclusion on a Hambleton District Council select list
for similar works need only supply updated information on details already
submitted.
Application in writing should be received by David J McGloin, Head of
Technical Services at Hambleton District Council, Civic Centre, Stone
Cross, Northallerton, North Yorkshire DL6 2UU, by no later than noon on 21
February 2003.
Failure to comply fully with the requirements of the advert will render a
response invalid.
