Ringway has today (Thursday) sealed a series of initiatives and extensions on its highways maintenance contracts across the West Country and East Anglia.
The deals for Ringway Highways Services, which are worth £55m to the group, include a two-year maintenance extension for Gloucestershire Council until summer 2005.
The group sealed this extension through its decision to deliver 10,000t of recycling off-site - rising to 25,000t in three years.
In Wiltshire the group will continue its partnership with Parkman until 2006, while in Peterborough Ringway has been granted the first of two possible yearly extensions.
The group will also be working with St Edmundsbury District Council for a further transitional year as the county prepares a comprehensive highways contract.
