Fiat Kobelco names Lloyd as second UK dealer

Fiat Kobelco's plans for the distribution of its products are now
clearer after it confirmed its second UK dealer - Lloyd of
Newcastle.
Existing Kobelco dealer Molson has been pencilled in to cover England up to Yorkshire (CJ 5 February), and Lloyd has been added to the list. The company distributes O&K products from its Newcastle branch and the plan is to add Fiat Kobelco machines to the same network. The area to be covered by Lloyd will extend northwards from Lancashire/Yorkshire and include Scotland.
"We expect to see machines in stock in two to three weeks," said Lloyd proprietor Barry Lloyd.
Lloyd also acts as dealer for Daewoo from its Carlisle branch.
n Northern Ireland machinery sales company Alexander Mills, based near Armagh, has expressed an interest in becoming the region's dealer for Fiat Kobelco.
The company runs a Fermec dealership and acts as sub-dealer for Kobelco machines for the manufacturer's main dealer in Cork.
