Dublin worker killed on building site

An Irish construction worker has died in a building site accident today (Wednesday) at an apartment complex in Co Wicklow.

The 27-year-old man died after machinery he was working on came into contact with overhead wires at the Diamond Valley complex in Bray at around 9am.

The victim, who has not been named, was pronounced dead on arrival at Loughlinstown Hospital.

Gardai and health and safety officials are examining the scene of the accident.
