Morgan Est and Emcor Drake & Scull each won two trophies at last night's Contract Journal Construction Industry Awards 2002.
Morgan Est won Civil Engineering Contractor of the Year and the Silver Helmet Award for Safety. Emcor Drake & Scull collected the Specialist Contractor of the Year and Marketing & Business Development Awards.
Sir Robert McAlpine was named Building Contractor of the Year. And Taylor Woodrow picked up the prestigious Long-term Partnering Award.
Awards compere Jeremy Clarkson told guests that this year's Contract Journal Awards was the biggest and best in the event's seven-year history. More than 1,000 industry professionals packed the great room of London's Grosvenor House Hotel to celebrate the best of British construction.
