REVIEW OF SELECTIVE TENDERING LISTS
It is essential that interested parties retain a copy of this advertisement
as it contains important information
Expressions of interest are invited from contractors wishing to be
considered for inclusion on this council's Selective Tendering Lists in
respect of the following trades:
1. Asbestos removal
2. Building works (design and construction)
3. Building works (construction only)
4. Electrical services
5. Mechanical services
6. Lift refurbishment
7. Lift installations
8. Underpinning works
CONTRACTORS CURRENTLY INCLUDED ON THE ABOVE LISTS WILL BE APPROACHED
SEPARATELY AND NEED NOT RESPOND TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT
The review procedure will take the following form:

1. A written request for application form, quoting reference number
3430/Misc stating the trades interested in must be received by the
Contracts & Purchasing Section, Wyncham House, Longlands Road, Sidcup, Kent
DA15 7JH or Sue.Morton@bexley.gov.uk by Friday 21st March 2003.
2. The council will despatch application packages by Friday 4th April 2003.
If you have not received a package by 18th April 2003, please telephone 020
8303 7777 extension 5917 and the delay will be investigated. Despatch
queries cannot be accepted after 2nd May 2003.
3. The closing date for receipt of application forms and all
associated documents will be Friday 9th May 2003.
4. The council cannot accept responsibility for forms that may have
been lost in transit, however, receipts can be issued for personally
delivered forms, or if a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed with your
application.
It is anticipated that applicants will be notified of the outcome of the
review during December 2003 and that the lists will come into operation on
1st January 2004.
