SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
TENDER FOR THE DESIGN AND BUILD OF TIMBER FRAMED EDUCATION FACILITY
AT THE WOODMILL OUTDOOR ACTIVITY CENTRE
SOUTHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL invites applications from firms/organisations with
experience in the design and build of timber framed buildings.
The project will provide classroom, toilet, changing and shower facilities
for outdoor activities on an environmentally sensitive site, which has no
mains drainage and difficult foundation conditions.
The scheme will need to be designed and constructed with sustainability as
a prime consideration, and to minimise the impact of the development of the
site.
It is envisaged that the building will be framed and clad in timber, from
