Following the parting of the ways with HM Plant, Fiat Kobelco has
finalised it UK dealer network. It has appointed Ernest Doe to
cover East Anglia, Lloyd Ltd will be the representative for
Scotland and northern England, Molson Holdings will cover southern
England, the Midlands and Wales, while McSharry Bros will cover
Ireland.
Five of Ernest Doe's 18 depots concentrate on construction
machinery and it also distributes New Holland, Manitou and Komatsu
Utility products.
Over an agreed time span, Ernest Doe will withdraw from
representing Hyundai in the East Anglia area, although it will
continue to represent the brand south of the Thames outside its
area for Fiat Kobelco.
Lloyd Ltd has nine branches and its area extends from northern
Scotland down to the A59/A64. The company already distributes New
Holland Construction and O&K products.
In the south, Molson Holdings has its headquarters near Bristol, a
second depot close to Manchester and 11 services vans cover the UK.
It is already Kobelco's most successful dealer.
McSharry Bros is based in Roscommon in the Republic of Ireland and
has distributed Fiat Hitachi products for 10 years as a sub-dealer
for HM Plant.
Giuseppe Ferrulli, vice president for sales and marketing at Fiat
Kobelco, emphasised that the company is a full line supplier and
said he was confident that sales would exceed the level achieved
under HM Plant.
