Robertson to open second timber plant

Robertson Timber Products (RTP), part of the Robertson Group, aims
to have its second timber frame manufacturing plant operational by
July.
Construction began on the £5m plant in County Durham at the end of February. The work is being carried out by its sister company Roberston Construction.
RTP already has one manufacturing plant open in Elgin working for Persimmon Homes and Lovell Homes in Scotland.
The business is targeting a turnover of £40m by the end of 2005, and the second plant will increase production capacity four-fold once operational.
